Ms. Mc Bean is the Patient Operations Manager for Camillus Health Concern, where she supervises both the patient services representatives and Health Information Management departments. In this role, Ms. McBean is responsible for the day-to-day patient-services functions, including appointments, health information, transportation, staff supervision, customer service and coordination of front- and back-office operations.

Ms. McBean serves as a liaison between CHC and the various shelters throughout Miami-Dade County which send their residents to Camillus to receive health care. Born in Jamaica West Indies, Ms. McBean relocated to Connecticut in 1971. A graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and brings to Camillus a wealth of experience in the field of social services.

Ms. McBean came to Florida in 1992 where she had her initial experience working with persons who are homeless and underserved, as a case manager with the Department of Children and Families in Hollywood, and later as a social worker for the City of Hallandale.
