As Vice President of Finance, Alejandro Ramirez is responsible for all aspects of financial and budgeting activities, including funding operations, maximizing investments, formulating financial plans, and supervising all municipal financing, grant accounting and all tax related issues. In addition, Ramirez will participate in the design, implementation and assessment of various business process activities.

Prior to joining Camillus, Ramirez was the Financial Planning Director and Vice President of Finance at LatiNode Communication. While he was there, he raised $25 million in capital from different investors and developed budgeting structures across international subsidiaries. He also worked as Finance and Operations Manager for EMC Corporation in Miami and was a General Project Manager for various construction and engineering companies in Medellin, Colombia.

Born and raised in Colombia, Ramirez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia in Medellín. He also received a Master’s degree in Construction Management from the MIT School of Engineering and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA.
