CAPITAL CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR
Reports to: Vice President of Institutional Advancement

Position Summary:

To provide managerial support for all aspects of Camillus House’s Capital Campaign, with emphasis on prospects, major gifts, pledges and capital campaign fundraising. This is a full-time position reporting to the VP of Institutional Advancement.

Responsibilities:

Maintains departmental calendar and provides reminders for key actions on fundraising activities related to the capital campaign.

Tracks progress of prospects, proposals and/or donor solicitations based on planned objectives for campaign funding sources.

Responsible for planning, scheduling and oversight of prospects tours, meetings and appointments.

Responsible for researching, updating and recording data on prospective and current donors related to the capital campaign, and preparing reports as needed.

Responsible for setting appointments with potential campaign supporters.

Assembles development packets for potential campaign donors and mails if appropriate.

Provides meeting site directions for solicitations to campaign prospects.

Drafts, proofreads and finalizes correspondence related to the campaign to donors, board members and senior staff.

Responsible for special fundraising events related to the capital campaign.

Responsible for mailings, coordinates with vendors and helps manage projects related to the campaign.

Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Detailed oriented and highly organized

Previous capital campaign managerial.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Customer service skills

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and the Internet.

Previous experience in Raiser’s Edge or other development software preferred.

Previous development or fundraising experience preferred.

Undergraduate degree.

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

CASE MANAGER- NORTH DADE
Reports to: Deputy Director of Housing

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive case management services to clients through assessment, intervention and follow-up

Provides clients with supportive short-term crisis counseling

Supervises client living conditions and provide emergency assistance when needed

Maintains programmatic records for each client

Interacts with clients on a daily basis providing life skills training

Identifies and coordinates community services for clients

Documents all client encounters in the health record

Advocates for clients within Camillus and the community

Attends all in-service training sessions and relevant staff meetings

Works effectively and professionally with Camillus staff and community partners

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Committed to the mission of Camillus House, Inc.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field; previous experience will be considered

Case management experience with the homeless and or underserved populations

Knowledge of community services available to assist target population

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, community groups and agencies

Strong written and oral communication skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, Creole a plus

Profile:

Culturally sensitive to the social, psychological and health care needs of a homeless person and/or underserved populations

Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, mental health and substance abuse issues

COOK – PART TIME/ TEMP (BROTHER KEILY)
Reports to: FOOD SERVICES MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Assist the Chef with the implementation of schedules, work assignments and the performances of all job functions in the Food Service Program

Responsible for the daily food preparation of breakfast, staff lunch, guest dinner and in-house dinner for approximately 1,400 people

Assist the Chef with in-house and outside catering functions

Assist with the supervision of the daily clean up of the kitchen, dining room and food storage areas

Monitor the performance of volunteers in the food service department

Assist with the receiving of all in-kind donation and food deliveries

Assist with the creation of daily menus including following standardized recipes

Maintain the organization of all walk-in coolers and food storage areas

Assist with daily inventories of all walk-in coolers and storage areas

Maintain all health, sanitary and fire standards according to the standards of the food division program

Other job related duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Commercial Cooking Certification

Knowledge of Garde Manger (Banquet set-up)

Minimum three years of cooking experience

Strong organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Profile:

Florida Food Protection Manager’s Certificate a plus

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, community groups and agencies

Current Positions available at Camillus Health Concern:

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Assist with patient examinations. Record vital signs, height and weight measurements
Sanitize clinical work spaces. Maintain medical laboratory log book. Retrieve and file diagnostic tests (i.e., x-rays lab work) information on a daily basis. Autoclave medical equipment as needed. Make outside appointments and referrals for clients. Stock, order and organize necessary medical supplies and forms for all clinical areas. Monitor incoming phone calls for medical staff. Administer necessary medications under the direction of a licensed physician. Phlebotomy. Perform simple diagnostic (i.e., EKG, urine dip, etc.) Assist as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.

Interested candidates must have High School Diploma or GED, Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited training school. Phlebotomy experience. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the needs of the homeless and/or underserved populations and will be receptive to multicultural patient environment. NURSE MANAGER
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the direct supervision and scheduling, for all Clinical Support Staff (CSS), including M.A.’s, LPN’s and RN’s. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination of continuing education for all relevant CSS, including CPR recertification, when needed. The Nurse Manager is Chair of the Camillus Health Concern’s quality improvement committee (QIC). The Nurse Manager, in conjunction with the Director of Health Services (DHS), coordinates all QI activities as delineated in the Quality Improvement Plan. The Nurse Manager may provide direct clinical services as needed. The Nurse Manager will approve and coordinate all Nursing Student activities in conjunction with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Interested candidates must have a valid RN License to practice nursing in the State of Florida. Experience with public health issues as it relates to health center needs. We are looking for candidates withy supervisory experience, leadership qualities and good interpersonal skills. Good organization and documentation skills are required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, Creole a plus. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the needs of the homeless and/or underserved populations and will be receptive to multicultural patient environment. REGISTERED NURSE
The position assists with planning and coordinating of activities of the outreach program. Assisting with medical triage, treatment and all aspects of clinical care for adult patients, specifically during outreach encounters, administers necessary medications under the direction of a licensed physician. Assisting with the scheduling and monitoring of patient appointments. The position is required to perform phlebotomy, electrocardiograms, simple laboratory procedures, give immunizations, provide patient education and HIV counseling and testing. The position is responsible for instrument cleaning and sterilization, including upkeep of equipment and inventory of clinical supplies on a weekly basis to assess needs. The position assists with sorting, categorizing and organizing donated supplies and may also be required to assist in the clinic as instructed by the Clinical Support Manager. Attend in-services and/or training seminars as needed to update knowledge for both yearly licensure and professional growth.

Interested candidates must have a valid RN License to practice nursing in the State of Florida. Experience with public health issues as it relates to health center needs.
