Camillus Health Concern: HIV/AIDS Services

HIV/AIDS Services: CHC works on multiple levels to address the high rate of HIV/AIDS in the homeless population. Primary medical care is provided through the Ryan White Title I Program in partnership with Mercy Hospital and Ryan White Case Management Services are available through an on-site Camillus House Case Manager. HIV Counseling and Testing is offered on-site and through Project Safestreet, CHC's HIV/AIDS prevention street outreach program described below.

Project SafeStreet: Project SafeStreet is a street and community outreach program that provides HIV/AIDS prevention education to homeless persons on the street and those residing in community programs. The Outreach Team provides HIV Counseling and Testing, case management and health care referrals, and transportation.
