Rita, a mother of three, still remembers the bad memories of being homeless. The separation from her children. The hunger pangs. The cold nights sleeping on the street or under bridges. But Rita found help at Camillus House. After coming to live at Camillus’ Somerville Residence, a permanent housing program for formerly homeless women with children, Rita was able to turn her life around. She immediately began to work doing medical book keeping and was eventually reunited with her children. Today, Rita is flourishing as she and children look forward to good and happy life together.
