Individual Volunteering
Every year, close to 1,500 volunteers donate their time to Camillus House. With an average of 1,000 hours served per month, volunteers perform crucial tasks for the organization allowing Camillus to fulfill our mission of providing direct services of food, clothing, shelter, addiction counseling, and health care to the poor and homeless of South Florida.
In order to make the volunteer experience at Camillus House more rewarding, we have divided our volunteer program into two tracks:
- Track 1: Emergency Food Services
- Track 2: Program Services
Please keep in mind our dress code requires all volunteers to be wearing closed shoes, long pants and a loose fitting t-shirt with sleeves (no tank tops or muscle shirts).
There is a parking facility located next to Camillus House (unfortunately we cannot validate parking), and metered spaces along 8th street.
