Camillus House
Brother Bill is a member of the religious congregation of the Brothers of the Good Shepherd who founded Camillus House in 1960. He is responsible for the general maintenance of our homeless and residential treatment center and directs the operation of our clothing distribution service as well as the overnight dormitory.
Prior to joining Camillus House in the summer of 2004, Brother Bill served for seven years as Director of the Good Shepherd Center, a shelter and direct services agency for homeless individuals in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prior to that post, he was Director of the Good Shepherd Residential Facility in Philadelphia for persons with HIV/AIDS. Brother Bill had previously worked several years in the medical research field at Wyeth – Ayerst Pharmaceutical, Inc. in suburban Philadelphia.
Brother Bill attended St. Charles College in Baltimore and is a graduate of the Franklin School of Arts and Sciences in Philadelphia. He has also been the Vocational Director for his religious community for the past ten years.
